Find EPFO UAN Number

UAN means Universal Account Number is provided by the Employees Provident Fund Organization, India, to every employee who registered for PF/EPF. Employees can use this UAN number to log in to their account and manage their account, EPF balance check, PF claim and check claim status, and more use important services.

How to Find EPFO UAN Number?

If you don't know your UAN number or forgot it, then follow the steps to know your URN number.

• Step 1: First, you have to visit the official website of EPFO: https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/For_Employees.php and click on the "For employees" option. Click on the above link to directly visit the page. On this page, you can see an option "Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)" under the service section. Click on it.

• Step 2. On this page, you can see an option in "Important Links" under the Login section. In this section, click on the "Know your UAN" option to find your UAN number.

• Step 3. After opening the page, you have to enter your "mobile number." After that, fill in the captcha code and click on the "Request OTP" button.

• Step 4. After clicking on the "Request OTP" button, open a popup with the message that an OTP was sent successfully to your mobile number. Click on the "Ok" button.

• Step 5. Now a new page will open. Enter the OTP you just received on your mobile and click on the "Validate OTP" button.

• Step 6. After clicking on the "Validate OTP" button, a new popup will open with the message that OTP validation successful. Click on the "Ok" button.

• Step 7. Now another page will open in front of you and this page is very important. Here you have to fill in some information:

1. Your Name
2. Your Date of Birth
3. Your Aadhaar number, PAN number, or Member ID (select any one) then enter the number you selected.
4. Enter the captcha code showing in the box

After that, click on the "Show My URN" button.

• Step 8. After clicking on the "Show My URN" button, a popup will open with your UAN number. It has a message that your UAN(s) is/are and follows your UAN number.

You must note down your UAN number for Member Login to the EPFO portal or any future use.
